Active Air Heating & Cooling was founded in 2009 by James Wilson, a Master HVAC Technician with a simple mission: treat every customer like family and never compromise on quality.
After a decade working for a large national chain, James grew frustrated with the corporate focus on upselling and rushed jobs. He opened Active Air with a different philosophy — honest diagnostics, fair pricing, and work done right the first time.
Today, Active Air is one of the most trusted HVAC contractors in South Mississippi. We have grown from a one-man truck to a full-service team, but our values have never changed. Every technician we hire is background-checked, NATE-certified, and trained to uphold the same standards James set on day one.

James founded Active Air in 2009 after 10 years working for a national HVAC chain. He saw firsthand how corporate red tape hurt customers and set out to build a company where speed, honesty, and quality come first.
